having a brass plaque set and engraved "Anne Arundel County -
Calvert County Boundary Line No. 9," continuing along the same
course 70.00 feet to a point in the center of Lyons Creek at
coordinate point north 340003.137 east 907398.328.

(p) Leaving the point and running westerly along the center
of Lyons Creek as it meanders to a brass plague set in a concrete
bridge abutment on the easterly side of the south bound land of
Maryland Route 416 at coordinate point north 339304.750 east
897562.215 the plaque being engraved "Anne Arundel County
Calvert County Boundary Line No. 10," the plaque being located
south 86 degrees 20 minutes 41 seconds west 9,856.28 feet from
monument No. 9.

(q) Leaving the point marked by plaque No. 10 and
continuing westerly along the center of Lyons Creek as it
meanders to a point in the center of the Patuxent River at
coordinate point north 333260.000 east 889410.000, the point
being located south 53 degrees 26 minutes 37 seconds, west,
10,148.77 feet from plaque No. 10.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That whereas the
Board of Supervisors of Elections of Anne Arundel County failed
to hold a referendum at the General Election of November 1982 as
required by Chapter 841 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1982, Chapter 841 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1982 is
hereby declared to be null and void.

SECTION [2] 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Board of
Supervisors of Elections for Anne Arundel County shall take the
appropriate steps to determine the number of legally qualified
voters if any, who reside in that part of Anne Arundel County
affected by this Act, and provide for a referendum of those
voters. The referendum shall be held at the General Election of
November, [1982] 1984. The Board of Supervisors of Elections of
Anne Arundel County shall do those things necessary and proper to
provide for and hold the referendum in accordance with Article
XIII of the Constitution if a majority of votes cast in the
referendum are for the alteration of the county boundary, the
provisions of this Act shall become effective on January 1,
[1983] 1985, but if a majority of votes cast in the referendum
are against the alteration of the county boundary the provisions
of this Act are null and void.

SECTION [3] 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if a
majority of the votes cast in the election are for the alteration
of the county boundary, that part of Anne Arundel County affected
by this Act is a part of Calvert County, and the inhabitants
shall have and enjoy all the rights and privileges as are held
and enjoyed by the inhabitants of Calvert County. If the
boundary between Anne Arundel County and Calvert County is
