(3) Data pertaining to any other reportable event
shall be reported within 60 days after occurrence of the event;
(4) The time requirements in this subsection may be
reduced by rules adopted by the Secretary or the Court of
Appeals.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the caption
lines and the Task Force Comments contained in this Act are not
law and may not be considered to have been enacted as part of
this Act.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions
of this Act shall be applicable to any case filed on or after the
effective date of this Act and to any individual found not
criminally responsible by reason of insanity or determined to be
incompetent to stand trial who is under commitment to the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene on or after the effective
date of this Act; except that the initial commitment of an
individual found to have been insane at the time of the
commission of a criminal act under the law in effect before the
effective date of this Act shall be governed by former §§ 12-110
through and including 12-113 of the Health - General Article as
those sections applied on June 30, 1984.
SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect on July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning
Volunteer Fire Fighters and Rescue Squadmen -
Emergency Assistance Trust Fund
FOR the purpose of improving fire, rescue, and ambulance service
in this State by reauthorizing the Emergency Assistance
Trust Fund; authorizing use of the Trust Fund under certain
conditions when a volunteer company must comply with certain
State or federal regulatory requirements; providing that
Trust Funds not obligated at the end of a fiscal year do not
revert to the General Treasury and that loan repayment may
be used to fund new requests for financial assistance from
the Trust Fund; requiring certain documentation to be
provided by volunteer companies that have received financial
