AN ACT concerning
Maryland Department of Agriculture -
Inspection and Registration Fees
FOR the purpose of increasing certain fees paid to the Maryland
Department of Agriculture under the Maryland Pesticide
Registration and Labeling Law, the Maryland Commercial Feed
Law, and the Maryland Commercial Fertilizer Law, and the .
Agricultural Liming Materials and Gypsum Law; and providing
for an additional inspection fee for a person who registers
commercial feed with the Department.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 5-105(d), 6-107(d), 6-208(a), and 6-305(b) and
6-208(a)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Agriculture
5-105.
(d) The applicant shall pay an annual fee of [$15] $25 $20
to the Secretary for each product registered. Each applicant also
shall pay a terminal registration fee of [$15] $25 $20 for each
discontinued pesticide each year for two years.
6-107.
(d) The annual registration fee for each commercial feed
distributed in the State is [$25] $30. Customer-formula feeds
and contract feeds are exempt if the registration fee is paid on
the commercial feeds which they contain. The annual registration
fee for each nonportable customer-formula feed manufacturing
facility which produces a guaranteed analysis feed in the State
is $100. The annual registration fee for portable
customer-formula feed mixers used in the State is $20 for each
mixer which produces a guaranteed analysis feed. However, for any
person owning five or more such mixers, the annual registration
fee is $100. For any person registering a nonportable
customer-formula feed manufacturing facility and paying the fee
therefor, there shall be no additional fee for the registration
of that person's portable customer-formula feed mixers, if any.
