A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL, AS THE DULY CONSTITUTED
LEGISLATIVE BODY OF THE TOWN OF WILLIAMSPORT, MARYLAND, A
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION EXISTING UNDER AND BY VIRTUE OF THE LAWS
OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND, ADOPTED PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY
CONTAINED IN ARTICLE XI-E OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, ENTITLED "MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS, PROCEDURES FOR
ADOPTION, AMENDMENT OR APPEAL OF CHARTERS" AND PURSUANT TO
THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 23A OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF THE
PUBLIC GENERAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND, 1957 EDITION AS
AMENDED, ENTITLED "CORPORATION-MUNICIPAL CHARTER
AMENDMENTS" AS SAID SECTIONS WERE ENACTED BY THE ACTS OF THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, AND SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS
THERETO; to repeal, revoke Sections 1 through Section 105 which are incorporated
herein by reference, attached and made a part hereof as now in force and to enact a
revised, amended new Charter of The Town of Williamsport as set forth herein and
attached.
