matching fund may consist of funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Calvert County)................................... 1,100,000
(D) Civista Medical Center. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$1,200,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Directors of Civista Medical Center, Inc. for the
planning, design, renovation, expansion, repair, construction,
and capital equipping of the emergency department, to be
located in La Plata. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act,
the matching fund may consist of funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act (Charles County)................................... 1,200,000
(E) Mercy Medical Center. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$800,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Directors of Mercy Medical Center, Inc. for the
planning, design, renovation, expansion, repair, construction,
and capital equipping of existing space at Mercy Medical Center
for inpatient bed modernization, located in Baltimore.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may consist of funds expended prior to the effective date of this
Act (Baltimore City)........................................................................ 800,000
(F) North Arundel Hospital. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of
(i) $600,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Directors of North Arundel Hospital Association,
Inc. for the planning, design, construction, repair, renovation,
expansion, and capital equipping of the inpatient psychiatric
unit, to be located in Glen Burnie. Notwithstanding Section 1(5)
of this Act, the matching fund may consist of funds expended
prior to the effective date of this Act (Anne Arundel County).... 600,000
(G) Northwest Hospital Center. Provide a grant equal to the lesser
of (i) $800,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided,
to the Board of Directors of Northwest Hospital Center, Inc. for
the planning, design, renovation, expansion, repair,
construction, and capital equipping of the intensive care unit of
Northwest Hospital Center, located in Baltimore County.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may consist of funds expended prior to the effective date of this
Act (Baltimore County).................................................................. 800,000
ZB02 LOCAL JAILS AND DETENTION CENTERS
(A) Baltimore County Detention Center. Provide a grant to the
County Executive and County Council of Baltimore County to
assist in expansion, renovation, and capital equipping of the
Baltimore County Detention Center, subject to the requirement
that the grantee provide an equal and matching fund for this
purpose. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching
fund may include funds expended prior to the effective date of
