which the funds were initially allocated may, at the county's
option, be:
(1) applied to another eligible project in the current fiscal year;
(2) reverted to the contingency fund and maintained for eligible
projects in the county in the next fiscal year, which shall be
in addition to new funds allocated for eligible projects in the
county in the next fiscal year; or
(3) used for projects eligible under the Aging Schools Program
consistent with the State school construction requirements
for local participation.
Further provided that to the extent funds are available for
public school construction projects in fiscal year 2007 above
$315,318,000 $316,818,000 $322,672,000, after July 1, 2006, the
Interagency Committee on School Construction may allocate
100% of any additional funds, after providing written notice to
the Presiding Officers of the General Assembly at least 14 days
in advance of a public meeting at which the funds will be
allocated. The funds may only be allocated for school
construction projects in a county designated as A or B and in
addition to the amounts specified above for each county, or the
additional funds shall remain in the contingency fund to be

(B) Aging Schools Program. Provide additional grants to be
distributed to county boards of education in proportion to the
