296 1695 depute & appoint y.e s.d John Freeman to be Regist.r of y.e High Court of Chancery of this Province hereby granting unto him full Power & Authority to act do perform & fullfill all & every such Act & Acts thing & things as may be necessary to y.e compleat acting in & performing all things requisit to be performed & done in y.e same; as by y.e issuing forth of Originall Writts Subpœnas Attachments Comissions of Rebellion Proclamations of Rebellion Melius Inquirendums &c.a And Generally, by executing y.e s.d Office in as full & compleat a manner as any Regist.r in Chanc.ry hath heretofore been used to perform y.e same To have & to hold y.e same unto him y.e s.d John Freeman untill y.e first day of Octob.r next ensuing y.e date hereof With y.e sallary of Eight Thousand Pounds of Good Sound Merchantable Tobacco & Cask In Witness whereof I have hereunto set mine Hand & seal this 10.th day of Aprill in y.e year of our Lord 1695 signed Thomas Brook Dep.ty Secret.ry Entred p John Freeman Regist.r |
