BY adding to Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative       Departments Section 486(c)(20)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1982 Replacement Volume)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article - Health - General 6-119A. 6-119.1 (A)  (1) WITH THE ADVICE AND CONSENT OF THE SENATE, THE
GOVERNOR SHALL APPOINT A MARYLAND TRAINING SCHOOL FOR BOYS
CITIZEN'S ADVISORY COMMITTEE. (2) THE TERMS AND QUALIFICATIONS OF MEMBERS OF THE
COMMITTEE SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE GOVERNOR. (B)  THE COMMITTEE SHALL BE COMPOSED OF THE FOLLOWING
MEMBERS: (1)   4 INDIVIDUALS; ONE REPRESENTING THE STATE'S ATTORNEY'S OFFICE OF BALTIMORE COUNTY, ONE REPRESENTING THE
ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE, ONE REPRESENTING THE JUVENILE SERVICES
ADMINISTRATION, AND ONE REPRESENTING THE BALTIMORE COUNTY POLICE
DEPARTMENT. 3 INDIVIDUALS TO BE SELECTED AT LARGE; AND (2)  9 INDIVIDUALS SELECTED FROM SURROUNDING COMMUNITY
ASSOCIATIONS, EACH OF WHOM SHALL BE LOCATED IN THE EIGHTH
LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT. (C)  THE COMMITTEE SHALL: (1)  EXCHANGE IDEAS AND INFORMATION WITH THE OPERATING
AGENTS OF THE MARYLAND TRAINING SCHOOL FOR BOYS; (2)  HEAR AND DISPOSE OF RECEIVE AND COORDINATE WITH
THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES THE DISPOSITION OF COMPLAINTS LODGED
BY INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE SURROUNDING AREA OF THE MARYLAND
TRAINING SCHOOL FOR BOYS CONCERNING THE INHABITANTS OF THE
SCHOOL . ; (3)  REQUEST INFORMATION WHEN NECESSARY FROM RELATED
STATE AGENCIES INCLUDING THE MARYLAND STATE POLICE, THE MARYLAND
TRAINING SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION, THE BALTIMORE COUNTY POLICE
DEPARTMENT, THE STATE'S ATTORNEY'S OFFICE OF BALTIMORE COUNTY,
AND THE JUVENILE SERVICES' ADMINISTRATION .; AND
