EMPLOYED BY THE CLINIC SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
THIS TITLE; AND

(II) EACH DENTIST EMPLOYED BY THE CLINIC
SHALL BE LICENSED AND SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
SUBTITLE 3 OF THIS TITLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

(House Bill 1132)

AN ACT concerning

State Fire Marshal - Powers and Duties

FOR the purpose of permitting deputy State Fire Marshals to
issue orders; allowing the State Fire Marshal to assist
county and municipal agencies; deleting a provision of
law that permits a representative of an employer to
accompany the State Fire Marshall during an inspection
of the place of employment; altering the requirement
for the training course for special deputy fire
marshals; requiring insurance companies to report any
loss in excess of a certain amount; and generally
relating to the powers and duties of the State Fire
Marshal.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 7(c) and 8

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1978 Replacement Volume and 1981 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 38A - Fires and Investigations

(c) A fire marshal legally designated by a county or
municipal corporation of the State shall serve as deputy
State fire marshal, without compensation, for the purpose of
