f)  Coordinate with and participate in
activities of other public and private
agencies; and

g)  Cooperate with the President's
Committee on Employment of the Handicapped
in programs and activities initiated at the
national level.

10. The Governor's Committee on Employment of
the Handicapped shall promulgate and adopt a set
of By-Laws and operating procedures that are
consistent with the intent of this Executive
Order and these By-Laws shall be on file in the
Governor's Appointment Office.

AMENDMENT TO EXECUTIVE ORDER 01.01.1971.14

PRESENTATION OF DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
CONSULTING CONTRACTS TO THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS

WHEREAS, On January 20, 1969, Executive Order 01.01.1969.01
was promulgated to require all State departments that
plan to enter into or renew any contract with a
consulting firm or consultant must receive prior
approval from the Department of Budget and Fiscal
Planning; and

WHEREAS, On June 15, 1971, Executive Order 01.01.1971.14
was promulgated to exempt the Department of
Transportation from the procedures required of the
departments under the January 20, 1969 Executive Order
and to substitute a requirement that before the
Department of Transportation enters into any consulting
contract, it shall submit the contract to the
Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning and the
Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning shall include
the contract on its agenda for the Board of Public
Works meeting; and
