property, thence along the south and west boundary line of
the Thomas A. O'Donnell property to a point which intersects
the prolongation of the south line of Walters Lane
Subdivision, thence in a straight line to a stone at the
south end of the south 11° 0' west 1974.7 foot line of the
Samuel W. Simpson tract, thence following the boundary lines
of the [said] Simpson tract, to a point 300 feet south of
the Marlboro Road, thence in a line parallel to and 300 feet
south of the Marlboro Road to the present boundary line of
the Washington Suburban Sanitary District, and thence
northerly across Marlboro Road with the present boundary
line of [said] THE district to the place of beginning. And
beginning for the same at an iron spike driven at a point on
the south side of Marlboro Pike and running with [said] THE
side of [said] THE pike south 40° 30' east, 383.2 feet to an
iron pipe; thence leaving [said] THE pike, bounding on the
property of Bartz, south 25° 23' west 1059.3 feet to a
planted stone; thence north 77° 45' west, bounding on the
property of Dreis, 546 feet to a planted stone; thence north
33° 07' east, bounding on the properties of Alice Clancy and
Moore, 1352.2 feet to the south side of [said] THE Marlboro
Pike and the point of beginning; excepting therefrom,
however, a strip of land extending 300 feet wide at right
angles from and parallel with the line of [said] Marlboro
Pike, the [said] strip being a part of the property
comprised within the zone of authority heretofore granted to
the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission by Act of the
General Assembly [of the State] of Maryland. And all of the
subdivision known as "W. A. Hitt's First Addition to
Parkland" as described in a plat recorded among the land
records of Prince George's County in plat book S. D. H. 4,
at folio 77, and beginning at a point [three hundred (300)]
300 feet east or southeast of the southeasterly intersection
of the Marlboro Pike and the Suitland Road, leading from the
Marlboro Pike to Silver Hill, and running thence
southwesterly paralleling [said] Suitland Road and
equi-distant [three hundred (300)] 300 feet therefrom to the
Southern Maryland Pike at Silver Hill, sometimes called
Walker Road; thence crossing [said] THE pike at right angles
and a distance of [three hundred (300)] 300 feet; and thence
with [said] THE pike westwardly and paralleling the same
equi-distant [three hundred (300)] 300 feet therefrom to the
present line of the Washington Suburban Sanitary District
one-half [(1/2)] mile from the District of Columbia line;
and thence with [said] THE line northerly or northeasterly
to the boundary of [said] THE district at or near the
Marlboro Pike; and thence with [said] THE boundary easterly
to the place of beginning. The jurisdiction of the
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission is hereby extended
to include the territory above described, and [said] THE
areas shall be subject to all of the rules and regulations
of the commission and all of the provisions of law relating
to [said] THE district, including taxes, assessments and
benefit charges levied in all other parts of [said] THE
district.
