SECTION -5- 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 1 (8) of Chapter 671 of the Acts of
1977 be and they are hereby suspended insofar as they impose
a time limit for placing under contract the following
projects in Section 1 (2) and Section 6 of Chapter 671:

Board of Public Works - General - Installation of
overhead utilities lines underground (Phase I), in Historic
District of Annapolis, i.e., State Circle, School Street,
Cornhill Street and Francis Street contingent upon the City
of Annapolis applying for Federal and Local funds and
providing written documentation that it has applied,
$620,000, Section 1(A)(3)(a) of Chapter 671 found on page
2687 of the Laws of 1977.

Board of Public Works - Annapolis - Construction of the
Executive-Archival Building between St. John's, Bladen and
Calvert Streets, $4,600,000, Section 6 of Chapter 671 as
found on pages 2702 and 2703 of the Laws of 1977.

Board of Public Works - Annapolis - To supplement the
appropriation "Acquisition of land and parking garage..." as
shown on pages 3617 and .3618 of the Acts of 1975 as amended
by this Act providing for the construction of the
Executive-Archival Building, $3,945,000, Section 6 1.
(A)(1)(c)(1) of Chapter 671 as found on pages 2704 and 2705
of the Laws of 1977.

Board of Public Works - Annapolis - Utilities for the
Executive-Archival Building, $255,000, Section 6 1.
(A)(1)(c)(2) of Chapter 671 as found on pages 2704 and 2705
of the Laws of 1977.

Department of Natural Resources - Merkle Wildlife
Management Area - Renovation of existing barns to provide
personnel space and an observation area and visitors center
for public viewing of wildlife contingent upon federal funds
being made available on an equal and matching basis,
$200,000, Section 1 (2)(C)(2)(a) of Chapter 671 found on
page 2689 of the Laws of 1977.

State Universities and Colleges - Bowie State College -
To supplement the appropriation "Construction of an Entrance
Road, Phase I" as shown on page 309 of the Acts of 1973,
$100,000, Section 1 (2)(H)(1)(a) of Chapter 671 found on
page 2696 of the Laws of 1977.

State Universities and Colleges - University of
Baltimore - Construction of an addition to the Academic
Center:

Construction........................ $ 5,140,000

Utilities............................... 130,000

Site Improvements........................ 30,000
