HE IMMEDIATELY SHALL NOTIFY THE COMMISSIONER OF THE CHANGE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

(Senate Bill 138)

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore City — Board of Electrical Examiners
and Supervisors

FOR the purpose of allowing members of the Board of
Electrical Examiners and Supervisors to receive certain
compensation for travel expenses incurred during
official Board business.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Baltimore City
Section 3-3

Article 4 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1969 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

Article 4 - Baltimore City

3-3.

Each member of said Board shall receive an annual
compensation of Twelve Hundred ($1200) Dollars per year for
actual service in attending meetings of the board, PLUS A
MILEAGE ALLOWANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL
REGULATIONS WHEN SERVING ON OFFICIAL BOARD BUSINESS, which
compensation shall be paid out of any moneys in the hands of
the State Treasurer to the credit of said board; provided,
that the secretary of said board may receive such additional
compensation as the board may deem just and reasonable, and
for which the by—laws of the said board may provide;
provided, however, that the compensation and expenses of
said board shall in no event, be paid out of the funds in
the State Treasury in excess of that credited to this board
or become a charge against the State.
