Caroline County — Alcoholic Beverages
(Salary of License Commissioners)

FOR the purpose of altering the salary of alcoholic beverage
license commissioners in Caroline County; and
prohibiting the salary increase from affecting the
incumbent members.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

Section 155(g)

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

155.

(g) In Caroline County the chairman shall receive an
annual salary of [$750] $900 and the two associate members
an annual salary of [$600] $750 each. The substitute member
of the board shall receive [twenty-five dollars ($25.00)]
$30 for each day employed in the actual discharge of his
official duties, not to exceed in any one year the sum of
[two hundred and fifty dollars ($250)] $300.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act

may not be construed to extend or apply to the salary of    the

License Commissioners of Caroline County in office on      the

effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this  Act

concerning the salary of the License Commissioners     of

Caroline County shall take effect at the beginning of  the
next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
