SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That new Section 4-721(e) be and it is hereby added to Article - Natural Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1976 Supplement) to
read as follows: Article - Natural Resources 4-721. (E)        A PERSON MAY NOT SET OR MAINTAIN A COMMERCIAL DRIFT GILL NET, STAKE GILL NET, OR ANCHOR GILL NET WITHIN
A RANGE OF 1,000 FEET FROM ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DRIFT
GILL NET, STAKE GILL NET, OR ANCHOR GILL NET IN THE
DESIGNATED STRIPED BASS SPAWNING AREA OF THE SUSQUEHANNA
RIVER.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977. Approved May 26, 1977.

Education, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1975
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows: Article 77 - Public Education
