NOT A CANDIDATE OR NOMINEE OF A POLITICAL PARTY, EACH OF
WHOM HAS the right to appoint and designate two
representatives who each have the right personally to
examine and make a copy of the vote recorded on the
machines.
(2) Upon completion of verification the
members of the local board shall sign a certification
that every counter used in the election has been
canvassed and verified by the board.
(3) At the time of submitting the certified
copies of returns required by § 17-5, the local board
shall furnish a copy of the certification specified in
(2) above.

SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Small Loans - Sale of Accounts
FOR the purpose of prohibiting a small loan licensee from
selling a loan account by any unlicensed person and
providing that any loan account so acquired by an
unlicensed person is not enforceable.

Article 58A — Small Loans — Licensing Provisions

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 15 be and it is hereby added
to Article 58A — Small Loans - Licensing Provisions, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume
and 1976 Supplement) to read as follows:
