Charles County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Beer and Wine License, Class H (On—Sale Only))
FOR the purpose of permitting the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Charles County to issue a Class H, beer and
wine license (on—sale only); and establishing a fee
for its issuance.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 14A(b) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1976
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
14A.
(b) These licenses shall be issued only in
Montgomery, Caroline, CHARLES, and Anne Arundel counties,
and in Montgomery County and Anne Arundel County a
license may not be issued to, or for use in conjunction
with, or upon the premises of any restaurant located
within a bowling alley, drugstore or billiard hall or for
use upon any premises which has a door, archway, opening
or other passageway providing direct public access to any
bowling alley, billiard hall or drugstore.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 14A(e) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B -
Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1976 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) to read as
follows:

(E) IN CHARLES COUNTY THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE IS
$200.
