SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 2-506(a)(8) and (b)(4) of Article
- Courts and Judicial Proceedings, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and
they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

2-506.
(a) A bailiff shall receive the compensation
provided in this section. Unless otherwise provided, the
amount is a per diem sum for each day he attends the
circuit court.
