(3) Pressure vessels:
Certificate inspections—
Fees (to be] ARE based on the maximum length of the
vessel times the maximum width or diameter [thereof].
Each pressure vessel subject to inspection having a
cross—sectional area of 50 sq. ft. or less ....
[$10.00] $10 internal; [$6.00] $6 external
For each additional 100 sq. ft. of are a in excess
of 50 sq. ft... [$7.00] $7 internal; [$2.00] $2
external
Not more than [$50.00] $50 shall be paid for each
inspection on any one vessel.
A group of pressure vessels, such as the rolls of a
paper machine or dryer operating as a single machine or
unit, [shall be] ARE considered as one pressure vessel.
(4) Hydrostatic tests—When it is necessary
to make a special trip to witness the application of a
hydrostatic test, an additional fee based on the scale of
fees applicable to a certificate inspection of the boiler
[shall be] IS charged.
(5) All other inspections, including shop
inspections and inspections of secondhand or used boilers
or pressure vessels made by the chief boiler inspector or
a deputy boiler inspector [shall be charged for] ARE
CHARGED at the rate of not less than [sixty dollars
($60.00)] $60 for one—half day of four hours and [one
hundred dollars ($100.00)] $100 for one full day of eight
hours, plus all expenses, including traveling and hotel.
"Secondhand" [shall mean] MEANS an object which has
changed ownership and location after primary use.
(6) IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER FEE SCHEDULES UNDER
THIS SECTION, ALL ANTIQUE BOILERS OR PRESSURE VESSELS
USED IN EXHIBITS OR SHOWS ARE CHARGED $5.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.
