Senate Bill No. 1038 — General Construction
Loans of 1974 and 1975

AN ACT concerning

General Construction Loans of 1974 and 1975

FOR the purpose of amending Section 5.2(A) (1) (a) of
Chapter 886 of the Acts of 1975 and Section

5.2(A)(1)(b) of Chapter 289 of the Acts of 1974 to

limit the design and preparation of plans and

specifications of two State office buildings to one

such office building for the Department of
Agriculture.

Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill
1036.

House Bill 2170, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 17, 1976, accomplishes
the same purpose.

Therefore, it is unnecessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 1038.
