   Of this court at y^e Especiall Instance and request of her y^e Said Anne when Sole y^e
Said Edw^d. Sold and delivered unto her y^e Said Anne divers goods wares and merchandizes
amounting unto y^e Sume of thirteen hundred eighty three pounds of Tob^o. and alsoe at y^e like
instance & request on y^e day and yeare Afs^d. and within y^e jurisdiction Afs^d. y^e Said Edward
paid unto A certaine M^rs. Elmes of S^d. Ceecill County y^e Sume of Seaventy eight pounds
of Tob^o. which Said goods wares and merchandizes and Tob^o. paid Amounts in y^e whole to
y^e Sume of fourteen hundred Sixty one pounds of Tob^o. as by A particular Acc^t. hereun
:to Annexed & herein Court brought y^e Same Appeares In Consideracon whereof y^e Said
Anne when Sole as Afs^d. upon her Selfe Assumed and unto y^e Said Edw^d. faithfully p^rmised
that She y^e Said Anne y^e Afs^d. Sume of fourteen hundred Sixty and one pounds of Tob^o.
unto y^e Said Edward She would pay when thereunto Afterwards required Yet Nevertheless
y^e Said Anne when Sole her promise and Assumption before made not minding nor
regarding but plotting contriving and fraudulently Intending him y^e Said Edw^d. in this
behalfe to decieve and defraud y^e Afs^d. Sume of fourteen hundred Sixty & one pounds
of Tob^o. unto y^e Said Edw^d. She did not pay altho often demanded Neither hath y^e Said
W^m & Ann ^nor either of them Since theire Intermarriage paid y^e Same Altho often thereunto
required but y^e Same to pay they & every of them have denyed & refused & Still doth deny &
refuse & unjustly detaine to y^e damage of y^e Said Edward Two thousand eight hundred pounds
of Tob^o. and thereupon he brings this Suite       Earle p^r q^r.

Wallis in his lifetime Judgement was awarded for A Nonsuite against y^e Said
Plaint^f
