Thomas Smith and Capt. John Whittington Called vizt. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Constables Called Thomas Hawkins John Sweatnam George Lumley John Hodges Richard Bishop all Called but none Appeares Wm Powell formerly Constable of Chester hundred now Decd. The Court doe appoint William Batemant Constable following yeare in his place ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mr. Solomon Wright Takes his place upon ye bench ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Richard Parnes John Sweatnam and Peter Green all Sworne & Sent to ye Grand jury ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Robert Smith of Talbot County Esqr Acknowledges A Deed to Mathew Dowler for Two hundred acres of land Scituate lyeing & being on ye Gravelly Runn Branch of Coursegall Creeke being part of A Tract of Land Called Smiths Farme to him & his heires & from him & his heires for ever ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Grand jury Returne but are againe Sent out ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Michael Miller of this County Assumes in open Court ye paymt. of an Attrys. fee to Richard Macklin upon Acct of Jno Cleever who is now Sued by Thomas Cooke if in case ye Said Richard doe appeare on behalfe of ye Said John Cleever & use his Uttmost Endeavours to defend ye Action brought by Said Cooke ast. ye Said John Cleever who Enters his Appearance to Said Action ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Court Adjournes untill Seaven A Clock To Morrow Morning Novemr. ye 26. The Court Mett according to Adjournment

Wright & Thomas Rynggold Takes theire places upon ye bench ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Coll. Jno Hynson & John Whittington both absent but Coll. Hynson Soone Returnes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Phillip Holeidger of Cecill County being bound by Recognizance last Court to make his not personall Appearance here at this Court but ye Said Phillip ^ appearing According to recognizance But ye Court being informed that ye Said Phillip is Now Sick & in a languishing condicon therefore uncapable of comeing Whereupon Richard Macklin Clk of ye Indictmts moves ye Court that ye Said Recognizance might be renewed Jno Hynson Junr. & Samll. Wallis Comes into Court & Acknowledgeth themselves Indebted unto our Soveraigne Lord King Wm each ye Third &a. in ye full & just Sume of five pounds Sterg. ^ to be leavied upon theire Lands & Tenements goods & Chattles Condiconed that ye Said Phillip Holeidger doe of Cecill County doe not make his personall Appearance at ye next Court to be held for this County & be of Good behaviour to all his Majties leidge Subjects in ye meane While ~~ wherewith they are Contented |
