346 assurances in the Law duly had and Executed he the said John Biddle now standeth lawfully seized in his Demesne as of Fee of an in a Certain Brick Messuage or Tenement and Lot or piece of Ground situate on the North side of High Street in the square between the Second and Third Streets from Delaware River in the City of Philadelphia Bounded southward by High Street Eastward by a Lot and Messuage of Hugh Roberts Northward by Ground of James Rhodes and Westward by Ground formerly of Sarah Loyd with the appurtenances (now in the Tenure and occupation of Owen Biddle) under and subject to the Payment of Sundry Sums of Money and to the Ballance of a Legacy and to Joseph Wood which was enjoined to be paid by the last Will of the said George Owen deceased and also subject to the payment of a certain Debt of one hundred and Fifty Pounds Sterling money of Great Britain due from the Estate of the said George Owen Deceased unto Willing Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said Clement Biddle and Rebeckah his Wife and John Biddle for and in consideration of the Sum of Ten Shillings a piece unto them well and truly Paid by the said William Pollard Charles Pottit James Crawford Jacob Spicer and John Barclay at or before the sealing and Delivery hereof The Receipt whereof They di hereby acknowledge and for Divers other good causes and Considerations them hereunto specially moving have and each and either of them hath given granted bargained Sold Aliened enfeoffed Assigned Transferred set over released and Confirmed and by these Presents do and each ^& others^ of them doth give grant bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff Assign transfer set over release and Confirm unto the said William Pollard Charles Pottit James Crawford Jacob Spicer and John Barclay their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns All those the aforesaid several Tracts and parts of Tracts of Land Messuages or Tenaments and Lots or Pieces of Ground herein before particularly mentioned and Described and Situate lying and being bounded limited and Distinguished as aforesaid with all and singular other The houses outhouses Barns Stables Buildings Mills Mill Dams Improvements Woods Underwoods Timber Trees Ways Waters Water Courses Rivers Wharves Landings Landing |
