343 for the better securing the Payment of the sum of Five hundred Pounds with its Interest in a Certain Day and time therein mentioned and Whereas the said John Biddle by Indenture of the Eleventh day of November late Past for the consideration therein mentioned did Grant and Confirm unto John Capp and Jacob Stein their Heirs and Assigns All that Lot or Piece of Ground Situate on the North side of High Street between the Seventh and Eighth Streets from Delaware in the City of Philadelphia containining in Breadth on High Street Twenty feet and in Length or Debth two hundred feet bounded as therein is Particularly mentioned with the Appurtenances To hold to them the said John Capp and Jacob Stein their Heirs and Assigns forever Paying unto the said John Biddle his Heirs and Assigns the Yearly rent or ^sum of^ Eighty spanish Coined fine ^silver^ Milled Dollars Each of them Weighing Seventeen Pennyweights and six Grains on the Eleventh day of November yearly thereafter forever with clauses of Entry and Distress &c.a as by The said Recited Indenture at large appears And Whereas the said John Biddle by one other Indenture of The twelfth day of November last past did Grant and confirm unto one Jacob Miller his Heirs and Assigns A Certain Lot or piece of Ground situate on the North side of High Street between the Seventh and Eighth Streets aforesaid in the City of Philadelphia containing in Breath on High Street twenty two feet and in Length or Debth two hundred feet Bounded as therein is particularly mentioned with the Appurtenances To hold to him the said Jacob Miller his Heirs and Assigns forever Paying unto the said John Biddle his Heirs and Assigns forever the yearly rent or Sums of Eighty Eight Spanish Coined fine silver milled Dollars Each Weighing Seventeen Pennyweights and six grains on the first day of May Yearly thereafter forever with Clauses of Entry and Distress &c.a as by the said recited Indenture more at Large appears And whereas the said John Biddle now Standeth Lawfully seized in his Demesne as of fee of and in a Certain Lot of Ground Situate on the North side of High Street between the Seventh and Eighth Streets in The City of Philadelphia containing in Breadth on High Street about Ten Feet and in Length three hundred and Six Feet bounded Southward by High Street Eastward partly by the Ground in the Tenure of the said Jacob Miller and Partly by (the) |
