       Premisses  In Witness whereof the said John Clapham hath hereunto set his
       Hand and Affixed his Seal the Day and year first above Written

       Maryland   On the twenty second day of February 1785 Came before me the
       Subscriber one of the Judges of the General Court of the State of Maryland the within
       named John Clapham and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing
       to be his Act and Deed and the Lott of Ground therein Mentioned to be the Right
       and Estate of the within Named Jeremiah Townly Chase his Heirs and
       Assigns forever according to the True intent and meaning thereof

          This Indenture made this Nineteenth Day of February in the Year of
       Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five Between John Laypold
       of Baltimore County of the one Part and Frederick Grammar of the City of
       Annapolis Baker of the other Part  Whereas Henrietta Maria Dulany
       by his last Will and Testament devised to Margaret Bordley and Mary Paca
       Wife of William Paca Esquire All the Real Estate devised ^to^ by her by her Daughter
       Henrietta Dorsey which lies in the City of Annapolis  And Whereas equal
       Partition has been made between the said Margaret and Mary by Writ
       of Partition and Judgment Final rendered in September Term one thousand
       seven hundred and seventy two and whereas the aforesaid William Paca
       and Mary Paca his Wife did for a valuable Consideration to them in hand
       Paid Sell and Convey unto John Laypold of the City of Annapolis Baker
       now of Baltimore County the said Lot or Parcel of Land as described in a Deed
