165 Lands and Tenements in Maryland aforesaid which were Devised and bequeathed by a Certain Edward Fell late of Lancaster County in England to the Younger Children of William Fell Deceased late of Maryland to have and to Hold all and Singular the above Described Lands and Tenements Houses Out Houses Rights Members and Appurtenances and the Reversions remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof To have and to Hold all and Singular the Lands and Tenements with their Appurtenances so Bargained and Sold or Intended so to be Unto the said William Fell his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns from the day and before the date of these presents for and during the full end and Term of one Year next ensuing and fully to be compleat and ended Yeilding and paying therefor at the Expiration of the said Lease Six Pence Current Money if Demanded Unto the said Thomas Bond and Catherine his wife their Heirs or Assigns; to the intent and purpose that by Virtue of these presents and of the statute for Transferring uses into possession the said William Fell may be in the Actual Possession of the Premisses And of every part and Parcel thereof to him his heirs and Assigns to be thereby Enabled to take and Accept a grant and release of the premisses to him his Heirs and Assigns to be Declared by another Indenture to bear date the day next after the Date hereof In Witness whereof the said parties do hereunto Set their hands and Seals the day and year first above mentioned Tho.s Bond Jun.r (Seal) Signed Sealed and delivered Catharine Bond (Seal) in the presence of Received on the day of the Date of these presents the Sum of fifteen hundred pounds Current Money in full the Consideration Money within mentioned Witness Tho.s Bond Jun.r Baltimore County fs On the 28.th day of July 1783 personally appeared the above Named Thomas Bond and William Fell parties to the within Indenture and Severally Acknowledged the same to be their Act and Deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof before Us the Subscribers two of the Justices for said County And at the same Appeared Catharine his wife of the said Thomas Bond before Us the Subscribers aforesaid and being examined by us privately and out of the hearing of her said husband and acknowledged this Indenture of Lease to be her Act and Deed And that she did the same willingly and Freely without being induced thereto by fear of or Ill Usage of her said Husband or for fear of his Displeasure Acknowledged before Geo Gould.s Presbery Tho.s Elliot Baltimore County to wit I hereby Certify that George Gouldsmith Presbury and Thomas Elliott Gentlemen before whom the within acknowledgment were Made and who have thereto subscribed their Names were at the time of the taking and Signing thereof and Still are two Justices of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid And all Certificates by them given as such Due faith and Credit is and Ought to be given as well in Courts of Justice as thereout In Testimony whereof I have hereto Set my Hand and (Seals) Affixed the Seal of my Office this Twenty Fifth day of October in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Eighty three Recorded 28.th October 1783 William Gibson Clk B Coty |
