72 John Garty two Tenements in the Possession of Peregrine Vandergrift Three Tenements in Possession of Philemon Noble three Tenements in the Possession of James Boyle two in the Possession of John Wyley and two in the Possession of Richard Reynolds and two in the Possession of James Cockron and three Tenements in the Possession of Richard Ellis and also of the following Twenty eight Tenements four in the Possession of William Rumsey two in the Possession of the heirs of Doctor James Bayard and the Remainder in the Possession Thomas Wallace the Heirs of Col.o Peter Bayard Samuel Bayard Peter Sluyter Henry Sluyter Solomon Harsey John Nidie John Leach Knight John Lathem John Alliason Spencer Holthen Mary Neasberry Barnett Vanhorn Jacob Evertsons Heirs James Reynolds Ephraim McCoy Thomas Weatherspoon and Robert Maxwell all of which was taken by the said Samuel Beedle and Delivered to the said Joseph Ensor in the Presence of us the day and Year above Written 21 Sides John Meekins Recorded 23.d October 1770 George Lewis x.d This Indenture made the Thirtieth day of July in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and seventy Between William Anderson and Margret his wife of Kent County in the Province of New Castle Kent and Sussex upon Delaware which said Margret Anderson is one of the Daughters of Herman Van Burkelo which said Herman Van Burkelo was Eldest Son and Heir at Law of Abel Van Burkelo and Catherine Van Burkelo both of Cecil County deceased which said Catharine Van Burkelo was one of the Daughters of Colonel Casparus Augustine Herman of Cecil County and Province of Maryland Deceased and Sister to the late Col.o Ephraim Augustine Herman of Bohemia Manor in Cecil County and Province aforesaid Deceased of the one part and Joseph Ensor of Baltimore County and Province of Maryland Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Anderson and Margret his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money to them in hand paid by the said Joseph Ensor at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof they do hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom do hereby release Acquit and Discharge the said Joseph Ensor his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them by these Presents Have given granted bargained sold aliened released Enfeoffed Confirmed Assigned and Transferred And by these Presents do give grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff & Confirm Assign and Transfer to him the said Joseph Ensor his Heirs & Assigns All that Manor Tract or Parcell of Land lying in Cecil County in the Province of Maryland called and known by the Name of Bohemia (Manor) |
