685 On the 20.th day of March One thousand Seven hundred and seventy four came the within named Richard Beard before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court for the Province of Maryland and did Acknowledge the within Deed to be his Act and Deed and the Land and premisses therein mentioned to be the proper right and Estate of the within named Thomas Harwood jun.r his Heirs and Assigns for Ever according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided Acknowledged before Philip Thomas Lee 10 Sides Recorded the 30.th May 1774 Ex.d This Indenture made the seventh Day of May in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy four Between Adin Pancoast of the County of Burlington and Province of West New Jersey of the one part and the Honourable Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esquire of the City of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland of the other part Witnesseth That the said Adin Pancoast for and in Consideration of the Sum of Three hundred & fifty pounds Common Currency to him the said Adin Pancoast in Hand paid by the said Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged he the said Adin Pancoast hath granted bargained and sold and by these Presents doth grant bargained and sell unto the said Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esquire his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns all that Tract and parcel of Land called The Resurvey on Aberdeen lying and being in Frederick County in the Province of Maryland Begining at a White Oak standing on the west side of a Branch called the Muddy Branch that runneth into Potowmack River at a place called Long Acre in the possession of Cornelius Eltings and running thence South forty three Degrees East twenty Eight perches then South twenty three Degrees East sixty perches then South seventy Degrees west twenty perches then North forty four Degrees west forty four perches then South thirty eight degrees west thirty six perches then South ten Degrees west forty perches then South thirty one Degrees west twenty perches ^then South Eighty Degrees west twenty perches then North Seven Degrees west twenty perches^ then North thirty eight Degrees East thirty Perches then North forty Degrees west thirty four perches then North sixty five Degrees west Eighty perches then South eighty seven Degrees west Eighty eight Perches then South fifty six degrees west twenty eight perches then west twenty four perches then North ten Degrees west sixteen perches then North fifty eight Degrees East thirty six perches then North seventy one Degrees East forty perches then North Eighty seven Degrees East thirty perches then North thirty seven Degrees East twenty perches then North Eleven Degrees East twenty eight perches then North fifty five Degrees East twenty four perches then North twenty seven Degrees East forty perches then North five Degrees East sixty perches then South sixty five Degrees East twenty perches then South twenty perches then South sixty one Degrees East forty nine perches then East eighty four perches then by a straight Line to the begining Tree containing two hundred Acres of Land And also all Trees woods underwoods ways water courses profits Commodities Advantages Hereditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Land above mentioned belonging or in any wise appertaining And the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents issues and profits of the said premisses and of every part and parcel thereof And all the Estate Right Title Interest Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Adin Pancoast of in and to the said Land and premisses and every part thereof To have and to hold the said Land and all and singular the premisses with the appurtenances unto him the said Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esquire his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns to the only proper |
