505) whilst he shall continue in the Office of Commissioner for Emitting Bills of Credit shall well and faithfully observe and execute the Trust reposed in him by the Act of Assembly of this Province entitled "An Act for emitting Bills of Credit and other purposes therein mentioned" according to the true Intent and meaning thereof then the above Obligation to be void and of none Effect otherwise to remain in full Force and Virtue Signed Sealed and delivered John Clapham (seal) in the presence of J Hall (seal) James Brooks Lloyd Dulany (seal) Maryland fs.t 30.th April 1773 In Pursuance of an Act of Assembly Entitled An Act for Emitting Bills of Credit and other purposes therein mentioned You are hereby directed and required to receive and immediately Record amongst the Land Records of your Office the above Bond and after the same is so Recorded You are to deliver the Original to the Register in Chancery to be by him safely kept in the Chancery Office To the Clerk of the Provincial Court J Hepburn 3 sides Recorded the 30.th of April 1773 x.d This Indenture made the thirtieth Day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy three Between William Beall Son of Ninian of Frederick County of the one part Ignatius Digges of Prince George's County of the second part and Thomas Jenings of the third part Witnesseth that the said William Beall for the barring all Estates tail and remainders over of and in the Tract of Land hereafter mentioned and for and in Consideration of the Sum of Seventy five Pounds Current Money to him in hand paid by the said Ignatius Digges at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he the said William Beall doth hereby acknowledge Hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents Doth give grant bargain and sell unto the said Ignatius Digges his Heirs and Assigns All that Tract of Land called Bellfast lying formerly in Calvert County but now in Prince George's County Containing two hundred Acres of Land To have and to hold the said Tract of Land and all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Ignatius Digges his Heirs and Assigns for ever to the Intent and purpose that the said Ignatius Digges may be perfect Tenant of the Freehold and Inheritance of all and Singular the aforesaid premisses with the appurtenances against whom a Common Recovery of all and Singular the said premisses may be had suffered and perfected at the next Provincial Court ensuing the date of these presents in which said Common Recovery it is hereby agreed that the said Thomas Jenings shall be Demandant and |
