       to them in Hand paid by the said Charles Carroll before the Ensealing & Delivery hereof, the
       Receipt whereof the said Henry Rozer, Daniel Carroll & Notley Young do hereby acknowledge &
       therefrom acquit & Discharge the said Charles Carroll his Heirs Executors & Administrators & every of
       them by these Presents have & each of them hath bargained sold aliened released enfeoffed &
       confirmed & by these Presents do & each of them doth bargain Sell alien release enfeoff & confirm
       unto the said Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns all those Lots of Land, lying & being in the
       Town aforesaid known & distinguished in the Plat of the said Town by the Numbers, Thirteen &
       two hundred & sixty four, Beginning at a Post marked Thirteen standing where the Northermost
       Side of Street Number seven intersects the first Line of Union Street & runing with
       Union Street northerly sixty Feet then Parallel with Street Number seven to the Eastern
       Branch of Patowmack River then by & with said Eastern Branch to Street Number
       seven then with said Street to the Beginning  The Lot ^Number^ two hundred & sixty four Beginning
       at the End of the third Line of Lot two hundred & fifty six & running with the
       said Line revers'd one hundred & eighty eight Feet then Northerly parallel with Union
       Street, one hundred & two Feet to Street Number one, then with said Street one hundred
       & eighty eight Feet to Union Street then with said Street to the Beginning
           being the Lots of Land drawn by the said Charles Carroll in a Lottery heretofore
       had for the Distribution of the Lots laid out in the said Town, in Pursuance of
       a Deed executed by the said Charles Carroll to the said Henry Rozer, Daniel
       Carroll & Notley Young, for the Purpose aforesaid, together with all & singular the Houses,
       Outhouses, Edifices, Buildings, Gardens, Ways, Waters Water Courses, Commodities, Privileges,
       Advantages, Premises & Appurtenances, to the same Lots of Land hereby bargained
       & sold, belonging or appertaining, & the Reversion & Reversions, Remainder & Remainders,
       Rents Issues & Profits thereof & of every Part & Parcel thereof; and also all the
       Estate, Right, Title, Interest; Use, Trust, Profit Property Claim & Demand whatsoever of
       the said Henry Rozer, Daniel Carroll & Notley Young, of in & to the same & of in & to
       every Part & Parcel thereof & Premises with the Appurtenances  To have & to hold
       the said Lots of Land hereby bargained & sold & every Part & Parcel thereof & Premises with
       the Appurtenances to the said Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns ^to the only proper use & behoof the said Charles Carroll his heirs & assigns^ for ever  In Witness
       whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands
       & affixed their Seals the Day & Year first above written
