188 and agree to and with the said Joseph Ensor his heirs and Assigns that he the said Henry Green, and his Heirs the aforesaid Land and Premises with the Appurtenances will for ever warrant and defend to him the said Joseph Ensor his heirs and Assigns for ever and that he the said Henry Green or his heirs shall and will at the reasonable Request Cost and Charge of him the said Joseph Ensor his Heirs or assigns make do and Execute any further Deed or Deeds Conveyance or Conveyances for the better assurance and sure making of the aforesaid Land and Premises provided the same shall contain no other Clause or Clauses then what is herein mentioned In Witness whereof the said Henry Green hath hereunto set his hand and Seal the Day and Year above written Henry Green (seal) Sealed and delivered In Presence of us Hannah Green Christopher Lewis On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit. Received April 12th 1771 of and from the within named Joseph Ensor fifty pounds Current Money being the full Consideration mention'd to be by him given for the within bargained Land and Premises I say Witness received P.r me Henry Green Jonathan Plowman Baltimore County fs.t on the twelf day of April 1771 Came the within named Henry Green before us two of his Lordships Justices for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within writing to be his act and Deed and the Land and Premises to be the Right and Title and Estate of the within named Joseph Ensor his Heirs and Assigns for ever According to the true Intent and meaning of the same Deed and the act of Assembly in such Cases made and provided Taken before us Jon.a Plowman Recorded this 27th June 1771 John Moale X.d This Indenture made the second Day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy one Between John Buchannan of London in Great Britain Merchant of the one part, and Anthony Stewart of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Merchant of the other part Whereas James Wardrope late of the Province of Maryland in America did by Indenture of Lease and Release made and dated on or about the first and second Days of August One thousand seven hundred and fifty four for the Considerations therein mentioned Grant bargain, sell, assign, Transfer, set over, Alien, Remise, release and Confirm unto him the said John Buchannan his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns among other Lands, Tenements, Hereditaments and Things, All these several Tracts ^Pieces or^ Parcels of Land of the said James Wardrope called or known by the Names of dear bought containing by Estimation Five hundred Acres; Partnership containing two hundred and eighty Acres; Brentford containing thirty five Acres; and Piney Hill Containings eighty six Acres be the same more or less scituate lying and being in Frederick County in the province of Maryland aforesaid or by whatsoer other name or Description the same might be called known or discribed under subject nevertheless to the several Trusts Conditions Provisoes and Covenants contained in the said Indenture of Release as by the said Indenture of Lease and Release ^relation^ being thereunto had may more fully and at large appear And whereas after Default made by the said James Wardrope in payment according to the Provisoes and Covenants in the said recited Indenture of Release (and) |
