706 to a bounded red Oak then North ten Degrees West Eighty Perches to a bounded White Oak being Boundaries Lines Courses and Distances of the said Whole Tract then crossing the said Whole Tract with a Streight Line to the said Appurtenances thereunto belonging Now This Indenture Witnesseth and it is hereby covenanted concluded declared and fully agreed by and between both the said Parties to these Presents for themselves and their Heirs and it is their true Intent and Meaning that the said Common Recovery so as aforesaid had and suffered of for or upon the said Parcel of land above described and Premises or any part thereof and the full Force Effect and Execution thereof and also all and every other common Recovery and Recoveries had made suffered or Executed or to be had made suffered or Executed of for or upon the Premises or any part thereof to which the said Parties to these Presents or either of them is or are or shall be Parties or Party or Privy shall be and Enure and shall be Construed expounded Deemed and taken to be and Enure to the only proper use and Behoof of the aforesaid Orlando Griffith his Heirs & Assigns for ever and to or for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their Hands & Affixed their Seals the day and Year first above written Signed Sealed & Delivered her in the Presence of Catherine | Griffith (Seal) Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Mark Th.o Johnson Jun.r Orlando Griffith (Seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t On the Twelfth day of April Seventeen hundred & Seventy Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Catherine Griffith and Orlando Griffith & did severally acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be their respective Act and Deed and the within Described parcel of Land and Premises with the Appurtenances to be the Right and Estate of the within named Orlando Griffith his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer ^Receiv'd of M.r Orlando Griffith the Sum of four Shillings Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore it being the Alienation Money on the within Premises by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and receiver Generall Recorded 12.th April 1770 8 sides Xam.d This Indenture made the Seventh day of April in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred & Seventy Between William Buchanan William Moore and Benedict Swope all of the Province of Maryland of the one part and John Moore of the Town and County of Baltimore in the said Province of the other part Whereas George Mathews of said County by his Indenture bearing date the Seventeenth day of April one Thousand seven hundred and sixty four and recorded in the Office for recording of Deeds in and for the County of Baltimore aforesaid in Liber B. N. N.o fol.o 353 &.ca for the Consideration therein mentioned did grant bargain Sell Alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said (William) |
