680 On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t 1 De 1769 Then received of M.r Jonathan Pinkney Three Hundred Pounds Current Money being the Consideration within mentioned to be by him paid to me witness Jos Howard Henry Wright Rob.t Pinkney April 2.d 1770 Then came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices of the Peace the within mentioned Henry Wright and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands hereby conveyed to be the Right and Title of the within named Jonathan Pinkney and his Heirs Geo Steuart Reced the sum of Twelve Shillings for use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on Three hundred Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General Jn.o Brice 5 Sides Recorded 6.th day April 1770 x.d To all to whom these Presents shall come Samuel Stringer of the City of Albany in the County of Albany and Province of New York Practitioner in Physick sends Greeting Know ye that I the said ^Samuel^ Stringer have constituted ordained and Appointed and by these Presents do ordain constitute appoint and in my Place and stead put William Coale of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman my true and Lawful Attorney for me and in my Name and stead to enter into that Lot of Ground situate lying and being in the City of Annapolis in the Province aforesaid and known and Distinguished by the Number Seventy one now in Possession of Jonathan Pinkney of the said City Gentleman and to grant bargain and sell the said Lot of Ground and Messuage or Tenement with the Appurtenances and also all my Estate Right Title Interest Claim and Demand whatsoever of in and unto the said Lot of Ground with its Appurtenances unto the above mentioned Jonathan Pinkney his Heirs and Assigns for ever and also for me and in my Name Place and stead and as my proper Act and Deed to Execute Seal and Deliver such Conveyances and Assurances of the said Lot of Ground unto the said Jonathan Pinkney his Heirs and Assigns to the only use and behoof of him the said Jonathan Pinkney his Heirs and Assigns for ever as shall be needful and requisite for the Doing thereof and as shall be to the good Liking and Approbation of the Counsel Learned in the Law of the said Jonathan Pinkney his Heirs and Assigns giving and by these Presents granting unto my said Attorney full Power and Absolute Authority to do execute and perform any Act or Acts thing or things whatsoever that shall be needful and necessary to be done touching or concerning in any wise the Conveying or Assuring the said Lot of Ground to the Person and Uses aforesaid in as full and ample Manner to all Intents and Purposes as I the said Samuel Stringer might or Could do if I was then and there Personally present and also to enter into one (Third) |
