(526) for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation fine on the within Land and by Virtue of a Commission from Dan.l of S.t Thomas Jenifer Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General J Brice Recorded the 15.th day of March 1769 Ex.d Maryland fs.t 10½ sides This Indenture made this Sixt day of March in Seventeen hundred Sixty Nine Between Lacon Dorsey Son of Edward Dorsey Junior late of Ann Arundell County and Basil Williams and Phebe His Wife now all of Frederick County of the One Part and John Worthington Warfield of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said Lacon Dorsey Basil Williams and Phebe his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and forty Seven Pounds ten Shillings Sterling Money to them in hand Paid by the said John Worthington Warfield the receipt whereof they the said Lacon Dorsey Basil Williams & Phebe his Wife Doth hereby Acknowledge and themselves to be therewith fully Satisfied Contented and Paid Hath given granted Bargained Sold Released and Confirmed and Doth by these Presents Give Grant bargain Sell Release & Confirm unto him the said John Worthington Warfield his heirs & Assigns forever all their the said Lacon Dorsey Basil Williams & Phebe his Wife their Right Estate Claim Interest and Property of in & to a Certain Tract or Parcel of Land being Part of a Tract of Land Called Thomas's Lott Lying in Ann Arundell County Begining for the Same at the End of Seventy Perches on the first Line of the Resurvey of the said Tract which said Line or Course is North Seventy Degrees West two hundred and Ninety Perches and Runing with the said line North Seventy Degrees West two hundred & Ten Perches to the End thereof then South ten Degrees East One hundred & forty Perches then South Sixty five Degrees East One hundred and fifty five Perches then North five Degrees East fifty five Perches then with a Strait Line to the first Begining Containing and Laid out for one hundred & fifty two Acres & a half Acre of Land more or less Together with all and Singular the Premisses & Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise Appertaining To Have and to Hold all the aforesaid Tract or Parcel of Land Together with the Premises & Appurtinances thereunto belonging or in anywise Appertaining unto him the said John Worthington Warfield his Heirs and Assigns forever (to) |
