       One thousand seven hundred and sixty three
       Signed sealed and delivered
       in the presence of                           John Evans   (s)
          John Ducker & Allen Quynn

             On the Back of the aforegoing Power of attorney was thus Written

             Be it remembered that the within Named John Evans came
       before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Provinc.l Court
       of Maryland and acknowledged the within General Letter
       of attorney to be his act and the Lands and premisses with their
       appurtenances to be the Estate of the within named Philip
       Williams his Heirs and assigns for ever Taken and Certified
       according to the Act of assembly in that case made and
       provided by me this 8.th day of March 1763

Exam.d   This Indenture made this seventeenth day of
       March in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and sixty
       three Between Joseph Pumphrey of Ann.ll County planter
       and Ann Pumphrey his Wife of the one part, and Charles
       Hammond Junior of the county afores.d Gent of the other part
       Witnesseth that the said Joseph Pumphrey and Ann
       his Wife for and in consideration of the sum of one
       hundred and forty Two pounds Current Money
