       and by these presents doth Bargain and Sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto
       the said Nicholas Gassaway hs Heirs and Assigns forever all that Tract or parcel
       of Land called Gassaways Addition lying and being in Baltimore County
       containing Two hundred and Eighty Acres of Land more or Less together with
       all and Singular the Buildings Yards Orchards Gardens fences and other improvements
       to the same appertaining and also the reversion and reversions remainder
       and Remainders Right Title Interest Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the
       said John Gassaway of in and to the said Tract of Land and Premisses To
       have and to hold the said Tract of Land and all and singular the
       Premisses with the appurtenances herein before mentioned and intended to be hereby
       Bargained and Sold unto the said Nicholas Gassaway his Heirs and Assigns for ever to
       the only proper use and Behoof of the said Nicholas Gassaway his Heirs and Assigns
       for ever and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever and the said John Gassaway
       for himself and his Heirs the before Bargained and Sold Tract of Land and all
       and Singular other the Premisses with their and every of their Appurtenances
sides  unto him the said Nicholas Gassaway his Heirs and Assigns against him the
3½  said John Gassaway his Heirs and Assigns and all Persons claiming by from or
       under him or them or any of them shall and will Warrant and for ever
       defend by these Presents  In Witness ^whereof^ the party first to these presents have
       hereunto set his hand and Seal the Day and Year above written
       Sealed and Delivered

          On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit

       Received the Seventh day of May 1760 of the within Nicholas Gassaway the
