(304) named Daniel Dulany and acknowledged the within Deed according to the form of the Act of Assembly in such case made and Provided And on the same Day and Year Rebecca Dulany Wife of the said Daniel Dulany being examined by me out of the hearing of her said Husband relinquished and gave up her Right of Dower in and to the within mentioned Tract or Parcel of land and Declared that she did the same willingly and freely and without being induced thereto by threats of ill usage by her Husband or fear of his Displeasure Taken Before 4½ sides Recorded 18th May 1761 Jn.o Brice x.d This Indenture made this twenty ninth Day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty one Between Margarett Buchanan & Robert Buchanan of Kent County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and Jonathan Slater of Calvert County Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Margarett Buchanan & Robert Buchanan for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred pounds sterling money of Great Britain in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said Jonathan Slater the receit whereof they doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and from every part thereof doth hereby exonerate acquit and discharge the same Jonathan Slater His Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns hath granted bargained and sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents doth freely fully clearly and absolutely grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said Jonathan Slater and to his Heirs and Assigns forever all that Parcell of Land lying and being in Prince Georges County in the province afs.d called & known by the Name of the Addition to the Hop yard otherwise called Hops Addition |
