x.d  This Indenture made this Twelfth day of March in the Year of our
       Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty one  Between Charles Carroll the Elder of the
       City of Annapolis Esquire of the one Part and John Rearsby of the City of Annapolis
       Gentleman of the other Part  Witnesseth that the said Charles Carroll for and
       in consideration of the sum of five Shillings Sterling Money to him in hand paid
       by the said John Rearsby at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents
       the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and
       of and from every part and Parcel thereof doth hereby release acquit and
       discharge the said John Rearsby his Executers and Administrators Hath
       granted bargained and Sold and by these Presents Doth grant bargain
       and sell unto him the said John Rearsby his Executors Administrators and
       Assigns  All that Lot of Ground lying and being in the City of Annapolis afsd
       in Ann Arundel County numbered Seventy three n the Original survey of the
       said City and in the Plat of the said City according to the resurvey thereof
       made by Thomas Stoddart in or about the Year Seventeen hundred and
       eighteen numbered Fifteen Together with all Houses Edifices Buildings
       Gardens Ways Waters Commodeties Priviledges Improvements Emoluments
       Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the same Lot of Ground
       belonging or appertaining And the Reversion and Reversions Remainder
       and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits of the said Lot of Ground and
       Premisses  To have and to hold the said Lot of Ground and Premisses
       with its Rights Members and Appurtenances unto the said John Rearsby
       his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the Day next before the
       day of the Date of these Presents for and during and untill the full end and
       Term of one whole year from thence next ensuing and fully to be
       compleat and ended To the Intent and Purpose that by force and
       virtue of these Presents and of the Statute for transferring Uses into
       Possession) the said John Rearsby may be in the Actual Possession of the
       Premisses and be thereby enabled to take and accept a Grant and Release of the
       Revertion and Inheritance thereof to him and his Heirs forever  In Witness
       whereof the Parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set
