220 In Witness whereof the Parties first above mentioned have hereunto set thire hands and affixed there seals the day and year first above written his Signed Sealed & Delivered John J Brunts (seal) in the Presence of us mark W.m Rogers Wil Lyon On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed Viz.t Received the 24.th of Feb.ry 1761 of the within named Rezin Hammond the sum of thirty four pounds Sterling money being the consideration within mentioned Witness W.m Rogers his Wil Lyon John J Brunts (seal) mark Feb.ry 24.th 1761 Then Came before us two of his Lordships Justices for Baltimore County the within named John Brunts and acknowledged the within named instrument of writing as his Act and Deed and the Land and premisses therein contained to be right and Estate of the within named Rezin Hammond his heirs and assigns for ever and at the same time came Elizabeth the wife of the said John Brunts who being Privately Examined and out of the Hearing of her said Husband Declared that she gave up all her Right and title and interest of in and to the said Land and Premisses unto the above named Rezin Hammond his heirs and assigns freely and willingly and with out the fear of the threats or Displeasure of her said Husband agreeable to the True Intent and meaning |
