       him the said Van Bebber And M.r John Jawert of Said County of
       Cecil That he the Said Deponent asked him the said Van Bebber if
       that was not the before mentioned Tract to which he replyed that
       it was Then this Deponent Demanded payment for the same
       but he the same Van Bebber answered that he had been at
       great charges already by the said Land but this Deponent
       Repartyd that he never received any Satisfaction for
       the same which he the said Vanbebber then confessed and
       this Deponent further Deposeth that he never did receive
       any Manner of Satisfaction for the Said Tract

       Know All Men that whereas Whalter Scott hath this Day
       sold and conveyed a certain Tract of Land formerly bought of
       his Father John Scott deced of ^one^ Edward Green unto me Mathias
       Van Bebber for which Deed I have paid Said Walter Scott for
       the same And Do hereby Discharge Whalter Scott from
       any further trouble or security of said land but what shall
       be at my whole cost and charge wittness my hand the 16.th
       of May 1707                                          Matth Van Bebber

       This Bill bindeth and obligeth me Mathias Van Bebber to
       pay unto Whalter Scott the sum of Five pounds Pensil Money
       it being the remainder of a great sum for a Tract of land
