       at Port Glasgow And Augus.tt Murray Notary Publick
       Residing at Inverury by Royall Authority duly admitted &
       sworn Do hereby certifie and attest that John Hood and
       Allan Speir are the present magistrates of Greenock
       before whom the above was signed and sealed In
       Psence of us Notaries Publick And That to all wrytes
       signed before them full faith is and ought to be given
       in judgment courts And Therewith Wittness our hands
       and Notoriall Seals in Greenock this Twelfth day of
       March One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty Two years

       made oath on the holy evangelists that they saw the
       within mentioned William Reid Sign Seal and Deliver
       the within Power of Attorney as his Act and Deed
       for the uses therein mentioned And that James Butcher
       Archibald Dunlop James Taylor John Laing and
       John Cunningham the other Subscribing Evidences thereto
       were then psent and signed as evidences to the same
