85) delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he the s.d John Hodges doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part and parcell thereof doth acquitt exonerate and discharge the said William Holland his heirs ex.rs & adm.rs and every of them by these presents and for diverse other good Causes and Considerations him the said John Hodges thereunto moveing hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and Confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoffe Release and Confirme unto the s.d W.m Holland All that tract or parcell of Land scituate Lying and being in Annarundell County afd Called Biggs Purchase being part of the Lord proprietarys Mannour of Annarundel Beginning at a bounded red oak being the northwest Corner Tree of Samuel Thomas his Land runing thence south one hundred and eighty perches to a bounded hiccory standing on a point being an other bounded Tree of the said Samuell Thomas his Land then west two hundred sixty seven perches to a bounded white oak then with a Continued west Line thirty per.s then north one hundred and eighty per.s then east thirty per.s to a bounded hiccory then with a streight Line to the first bounder containing three hundred thirty four acres of Land more or Less And also all that other Tract or parcell of Land scituate Lying & being in Annarundel County afd Called Poplar Neck Beginning at a bounded water oak standing by south River side and on the south side of the said River upon a point and runing from the said oake by a Line drawn south west one hundred eighty five perches to a bounded Ceder standing by a Creek Called Mitchells Creek and from the said Cedar by a Line drawn south eighty three degrees and a half westerly one hundred eighty three perches to a bounded white oake it being a bounded tree of a Tract of Land Called Puddington and from the said white oak with the Land of Puddington northwest by north sixty six perches to a bounded hiccory standing at the head of a Creek Called Puddingtons Creek thence with the naturall bounds of the said Creek by severall Courses to a point at y.e mouth of the s.d Creek & upon south river side thence bounding on the said River by a streight Line to y.e first bounded tree Containing and Laid out for two hundred seventy eight acres more or Less and all and all manner of houses outhouses trees woods underwoods ways waters water courses proffitts comodities and appurtenances whatsoever to he same belonging or appertaining and the reversion & reversions remainder and remainders thereof and also all the right title Interest property Claim and demand whatsoever of him the said John Hodges (&) |
