       By Patent thereof Granted unto George Abbott late of this province deceased
       bearing date y.e thirteenth day of August one Thousand six hundred eighty
       and four to containe one thousand acres and w.ch by Tho.s and John Abbott
       Sons and Devisees of y.e s.d George by their deed Indented and Duely Executed
       y.e nineteenth day of July one thousand seven hundred and Three as for y.e
       consideracon therein mencond conveyd and made over unto y.e s.d Alexander
       Parran  And alsoe all that one hundred acres lyeing in Calvert County
       af.d called by y.e name of Brook plaine scituate on y.e north side of
       Puttuxon River on y.e east side of S.t Leonards creek and by y.e s.d
       Alexander purchased of a certain Tho.s Symons togeather w.th all
       and singular the rights members and Appurtenences to y.e s.d severall
       Tracts and percells of Land belonging or in any wise Appertaineing
       To have and to hold y.e same and every of them unto
       him y.e s.d Charles Carroll his heirs and assignes for ever to and
       for y.e onely proper use and behoof of him y.e s.d Cha.s his heirs &
       assignes and to noe other use intent meaning purpose or construccon
       whatsoever  And y.e s.d Alexander Parran doth by these presents for
       him and his heirs covenant promise grant and agree to and w.th him
       y.e s.d Cha.s and his heirs and assignes y.t y.e s.d severall bargained
       Tracts percells and peices of Land w.th their and every of their Appurtenances
       are att y.e time of y.e Ensealing and Delivery of these presents clare and free
       of and from all and all manner of incumbrances whatsoever whether by
       Statutes Judgem.ts Extents recognizances forfeitures or attainders of him y.e s.d
       Alex.r or those any or either of those under whom he Derives his Title to y.e
       Premisses or any parte thereof or by any other ways or means whatsoever
       And y.e s.d Alex.a Parran doth by these presents further for him & his heirs
