285) This Indenture made the seventh day of September Annoq Dom One thousand Seven hundred and fourteen Between Elizabeth Hutchins of Ann Arundell County widd.o Daughter of Edward Talbot late of the said County deceased of the One Part and Henry Hall of the Same County Clerk of the other part Wittnesseth that whereas Charles Lord proprietor of the province of Maryland did by his Letters Pattents under his greater seal at Armes bearing date the thirtyeth day of August Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and fourteen for the Considerations therein Mentioned grant unto John Talbot of the afd County and the abovesaid Elizabeth by the names of John and Eliz.a the son & Daughter of the above mentioned Edward Talbott All that tract or parcell of Land called Talbotts Revolution Mannour lying in the woods on a ridge Called Elk Ridge in Baltemore County and Begining at a bounded white oake and hiccory and runing south west eighty two per to a bounded Red Oake and Chesnutt then North west four hundred and thirty six perches to a bounded oake then south west three hundred and eighty one perches to a bounded white oak then south east three hundred and twenty perches to a bounded poplar still south east one hundred and sixty p.s to a bounded oake then by a streight Line to the first tree containing and now Laid out for One thousand and eighty seven acres of Land more or less togeather with all Rights Proffitts benefitts and previledges thereunto belonging Royall mines excepted To have and to hold unto them the said John & Eliz.a their heirs and assignes for ever under such Covenants and Expressions as in and by the said Recited deed of Grant or Pattent Relation being thereunto had May more at Large Appear Now This Indenture further Wittnesseth that the said Elizabeth Hutchins for and in Consid.n of the sum of fifty Pounds sterling mony of Great Brittaine to her in hand paid by the said Henry Hall at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Eliz.a Doth hereby acknowledge and therew.th to be fully contented and paid and thereof and every part thereof doth clearly acquitt and discharge the said Henry Hall his heirs and assignes for ever and by these presents Hath given granted aliened bargained sold enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents do fully Clearly and Absolutely Give grant Aliene bargaine sell enfeoffe and Confirme unto the said Henry Hall his heirs and assignes for ever All her whole part of the abovesaid tract of land and p.rmises it being the Moiety or Equall part of the said tract Granted to y.e s.d John and Eliz.a as by the above mention.d Grant may appear To have and to hold the said Moiety unto him the said Henry Hall his heirs and Assignes for ever togeather w.th all Rights benefitts proffitts |
