       granted Aliened Bargained sold enfeoffed and confirmed
       and y.e ^by^ these p.rsents doth give grant alien Bargaine sell
       enfeoff & confirme unto y.e said Richard Thatcher his heirs
       and assignes forever all that ^Tract^ of Land scituate lying and
       being in Cecill County Beginning at a marked poplar tree
       standing on a high bank over y.e west side of y.e east branch
       of Elk river & about a pistoll ^Shot^ to the northward of y.e mouth
       of a branch called y.e sure and running west by north three
       hundred & twenty perches to a marked ^oake^ then north by
       east three hundred seventy five perches ^to an oak then east by south 512 p.s then south by west three hund.d seventy five perches^ then west by north
       one hundred Ninty two perches to the place of Begining
       containing Twelve ^hu^ndred acres of land it being
       part of six hundred ^Thousand^ acres called new Munster
       granted by y.e Right Hon.ble Lord Barron of Baltemore
       to Edmond Dwire late of y.e province late of y.e of
       Maryland as by Certificate of Survey dated y.e twenty
       Ninth day of August one thousand six hundred Eig^h^ty
       three may more at Large appeare and Conveyed by
       the said Edmond Dwire to Daniel Toas Sen.r as by

       did give and bequath unto his wife three children his
       son Danl son John & Daughter Sarah Toas and to

       equally to be divided amongst them & y.e said ^Peter^ Massey
       by Intermariage ^with^ y.e said Sarah Toas became lawfully
       seized of y.e above granted p.rmises with their appurtenances
