197 majestys Justices of Annard.l County Court In Testimony whereof I have hereunto affixed the seal of the said County the day and year afd recorded Jan.ry the 4.th 1713 (Sea) John Beale Clk aa Co.ty Co.rt Feb.ry the 24.th 1713 Recd of Jn.o Brown the sum of eight hundred and four pearches being for the alien.a of the within land being two hund.d seven acres & an half then recorded Feb.ry 24.th 1713 Charles Carroll 517 x.d This Indenture made this Fourteenth day of January Anno Dm seventeen hundred & Thirteen Between Jacob Henderson of Prince Georges County Clerk and Mary his wife lately Called Mary Ridgeley the widdow and devisee of Colonell Henry Ridgeley late of Prince Georges County deceased of y.e one parte and Ezekiel Wrighte of Ann arundell County Esq.r of y.e other Wittnesseth that the s.d Jacob Henderson & Mary his wife as well for & in Consideration of y.e sume of One Thousand pounds sterling to them in hand paid or secured to be paid the receipt whereof the said Jacob & Mary do hereby acknowledge & of every parte and parcell thereof do fully clearly and absolutely acquit Exonerate and Discharge the s.d Ezekiel Wright his ^heirs^ Executors Administrators by these presents as for divers other good Causes and Considerations them thereunto moveing have given granted bargained sold aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and do by these presents for themselves and their heirs give grant bargaine sell alien Enfeoff and Confirme unto him the said Ezekiell Wrighte his heirs & Assignes forever the two Tracts or parcells of Land herein after mentioned that is to say all that tract or parcell of Land Called Catton a mile from the west side of the north branch of Petuxent River Beginning at a bounded oake being a bounded tree of the land of John Llewellin standing in y.e line of a parcell of Land formerly laid out for John Howerton Called Howertons Range and running with y.e line of y.e said Land North North west one hundred perches to the land formerly laid out for Robert Wilson and bounding on y.e said Land running north and by west one hundred and fifty perches to the northernmost bounded tree of y.e said land then West three hundred and twenty perches bounded on y.e west by a line Drawne south two hundred forty and five perches to y.e land of y.e said Llewellin thence bounding on the said land to the first (bounded) |
