both 2507 wds 276.ℓ tob.o x.d This Indenture made this eighteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hund.d and twelve Between George Wells of Baltemore County Gent of the one part and John Ingram of Ann arundel County Gent of the other part Wittnesseth that the s.d George Wells for and in Consideration of the sume of one hundred seventy and five pounds lawfull money of Great Brittaine to him the said George by the said John in hand paid the receipt whereof he the said George doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part and parcell thereof doth hereby fully clearly and absolutely exonerate acquitt and discharge the said John Ingram his heirs ex.rs & adm.rs Hath given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents doth for himself and his heires give grant bargaine sell aliene enfeoffe and confirme unto him the said John Ingram and to his heires all that tract or parcell of Land called Holy Neck lying on the west side of the bay in Baltemore County marwer in the said County called Gunpowder River and in a branch in the said River called Wells branch ^and^ on the south side of the s.d branch Beginning at a marked white oake standing on a Low point by a great Cove respecting to the south east and by east a small island near the said point which island respecteth the (mouth) |
