970 Grant unto his Brother Phillip Calvert Esq decd a certaine Tract of Land lyeing on the West Side of Chesepeak bay on y.e South branch of a River in y.e s.d bay called y.e North east river now called backriver and on y.e North east side of y.e said branch Begining at a marked pine tree standing in a bay by a marshe bite runeing East South East downe the river for breadth Three hundred and Fifty p.s to a marked Mulberry tree standing on a low point of Marsh bounding on y.e East by a line drawne North & by East from y.e s.d Mulberry for length Three hund.d and fifty p.s on the North by a line drawne west North west from y.e end of y.e s.d North & by East line for breadth Th^r^ee hundred & fifty p.s of y.e west by a line drawne South and by west from y.e end of the West North west line unto y.e first marked pine on y.e South by y.e s.d River Containing Seaven hund.d a of Land to hold to him the said Phillip Calvert his heires & assis forever in and by w.ch said Pattent y.e s.d Lord prop.ry erected y.e s.d land & p.rmisses unto a manno.r by y.e name of Wiske as p pattent thereof remaineing on record in y.e Land office in this province relacon being thereto had it doth & may more fully and att Large appear afterwards to witt y.e second day of March in y.e year of our Lord one thousand six hundred & sixty four y.e s.d Phillip Calvert (and |
