       for Ever by these presents Hath Given Granted bargained
       sold Enfeofed and Confirmed and by these presents
       Doth Give Grant bargaine sell Enfeoffe and
       Confirme unto the said John Gressam his heires
       and assignes for Ever all that tract or parcell of
       land lyeing in Talbot County Called the Brothers
       connextion Begining at a bounded white Oake
       being the bounded tree of a tract of land laid out
       for Maj.r Sowell Called sewell Manno.r and standing
       in a savan on the south west side of a branch and
       runing for breadth North East Two hundred and fifty
       perches unto another bounded Oake thence south
       East six hundred and forty perches thence south west
       Two hundred and Fifty perches to the said sewells
       Manner thence with a direct line to the first bound
       tree Containing and laid out for one thousand acres
       of land more or less together with all rights profitts
       benefitts and priviledges to the same belonging or in
       any wise appertaining to have and to hold the said
       tract or parcell of land unto him the said John Gressam
       his heires and assignes To and for the one proper use
       and behoofe of him the said John Gressam his heires
       and assignes for Ever and to none other use intent
       or purpose whatsoever and the said Georges burges
       for himselfe his heires Execut.rs and adm.rs Doth
       hereby Coveant promise and Grand and agree
       to and with the said John Gressam his heires & assignes
       by these presents that he the said George burges
       his heires Execut.rs and adm.rs or any of them shall
       and will warrant and for Ever Defendent the said
       tract or parcell of land and premisses to the said
       John Gressam his heires and assignes against all
       persons layeing any Claime thereto whatsoever
       by from or under him the said George Burges
       his heires or assignes and the said George burges
       for himselfe his heires executors and administrators
