8 Devised advised or required In Wittness whereof the partyes first above named have to these p.rsent Indentures interchangeably sett their hands & seales the day and yeare first above written George Warner sealed Sealed & delivered in the p.rsence of Nic Painter Tho Griffin Underneath the above Deed was written Viz.t Decemb.r the 7.th 1676 Then George Warner acknowledged in open Court the above Deed of Conveyance to be his Act & Deed to the uses therein menconed Jn.o Blomfeild CS This Indenture made the first day of February in the first yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord Baltemore Absolute Lord & Proprietory of the Province of Maryland & Avalon Lord Barron of Baltemore &c Annoq Dom one thousand Six hundred Seaventy Six or Seaven Betweene George Fidler now of S.t Maryes County in the ^s.d^ province of Maryland planter on the one part And Marke Cordea of S.t Maryes County in the Province of Maryland Gentl And John & Worthington of Manchester in the County of Lancaster in the Kingdome of England Merchant on the other parties Witnesseth That the Said George Fidler as well for and in Consideracon of the full quantity of thre hundred & eighty pounds of Lawfull money of England to him already paid or secured to be paid by the said Marke Cordea & John Worthington before the ensealing & delivery of these presents & alsoe for divers other good Causes & Consideracons him thereunto moveing hath given granted bargained sold alienated Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doe give grant bargaine Sell Alienate enfeoffe & Confirme unto the said Marke Cordea and John Worthington All my land in Lancashire neere Ashton underline in the Kingdome of England Comonly called by the name Lansley and now in the Occupacon of Robert Fidebothom beeing fifteene Acres of Land together with all rights profitts and benefits to the Said land belonging And allso all houses edefices buildings orchards Gardens yards Woods underwoods feedings & pasture whatsoever with theire & every of theire Appurtenances to the Said land belonging or any way apperteining To have & to hold the Said land and all other the before granted premisses with theire & every of theire Appurtenances unto them the Said Marke Cordea & John Worthington theire heires or Assignes to y.e only proper use and behoofe of them the Said Marke Cordea & John Worthington theire heires and Assignes for ever yeilding & Paying all the rents & Services which from henceforth shall grow due and payable to the Lord or Lords of the Fee or Fees of the Same lands or premisses And the Said George Fidler for himselfe his heires Exec.rs Adm.rs or Assignes doe hereby Covenant promise grant & Agree to & with the Said Marke Cordea & John Worthington theire heires Exec.rs Adm.rs and Assignes that the Said George Fidler his heires Exec.rs and Adm.rs Shall & will from time to time & at all times hereafter well & truly warrant and defend to the said Marke Cordea and John Worthington theire heires Exec.rs Adm.rs or Assignes all & Singular the Above Said land hereby granted or meant or mentioned to be granted together with all the houses Edefices buildings yards Gardens wayes easem.ts profits & priveledges to the Same belonging or any way apperteining against all persons whatsoever claiming any right title or interest of in or to the Said granted Premisses or any part thereof by from or under him or any other pson or psons whatsoever And the Said George Fidler doth hereby for himselfe his heires Exec.rs and Adm.rs Covenant promise grant & Agree to and with the Said Marke Cordea & John Worthington their heires Exec.rs Adm.rs or Assignes that he the Said George Fidler his heires Exec.rs Adm.rs or Assignes Shall & will at all times hereafter when thereunto required by the Said Marke Cordea & John Worthington theire heires Exec.rs or Assignes or any of them at theires the Said Marke Cordea & John Worthington theire heires Exec.rs or Assignes at theire owne proper cost & Charges ^in the Law^ made to Suffer Execute or cause to be made done suffred & Executed all & every Such Act & Acts thing or things devise or devises in the law whatsoever for the better assureing & more Sure makeing of the premisses unto them the said Marke Cordea & John Worthington theire heires or Assignes for ever as they & theires Councell learned in the law Shall be reasonably advised or acquired In witness whereof the partie first above named to this p.rsent Indenture have here unto Set his hand & Seale the day & yeare above written his George A Fidler Sealed marke Sealed Signed & Deliv.rd in y.e p.rsence of us T Loockerman his Thomas X Williams marke John Askin |
